Role Overview

Kodryx AI is seeking an accomplished Workday Integrations Lead to assume full technical accountability for complex integration projects. This is a senior, hands-on position that requires the ability to independently manage and deliver high-quality solutions across the entire Workday integration stack from design through deployment.

The Lead will serve as the primary technical authority, providing architectural guidance to clients, managing development workstreams, and ensuring the successful, efficient delivery of all Workday integration initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership and Delivery: Lead the end-to-end technical lifecycle of Workday integration projects, owning the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and build robust, scalable integrations utilizing expert proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and SOAP/REST Web Services.
  • Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce technical standards for integration patterns, reusable transformation logic (XSLT/JSON), error handling, and security protocols.
  • Advanced Data Reporting: Develop complex reporting solutions, including Composite/Matrix Reports and RaaS, ensuring data integrity and optimized performance for integration consumption.
  • Prism Analytics Management: Manage the creation and maintenance of Prism datasets and data pipelines to support cross-domain reporting and advanced analytics requirements.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct client-facing technical workshops, articulate complex architectural designs clearly, and advise clients on Workday integration best practices and technical roadmap development.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide tier-3 support for complex production issues, troubleshoot system-level integration problems, and perform code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
  • Team Development: Mentor and coach junior developers, actively contributing to the overall technical capability and knowledge base of the Workday practice.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years dedicated experience in Workday Integrations, including technical leadership on multiple full-cycle implementation projects.
  • Certification: Mandatory Workday Integrations Certification (Workday Studio specialization preferred).
  • Technical Stack Expertise: Demonstrated expert-level proficiency with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Report as a Service (RaaS), and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Transformation Languages: Advanced capability in data transformation utilizing XML, XSLT, XPath, and JSON.
  • Workday Functional Knowledge: Strong comprehension of Workday Security, Business Processes, Tenant Configuration, and the core functional areas of Workday HCM and Financials.
  • Integration Landscape: Proven experience integrating Workday with diverse third-party endpoints, including payroll systems, financial institutions, and middleware platforms.
  • Professional Skills: Superior communication skills (written and verbal), strong analytical thinking, and meticulous technical documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Reporting or Prism Analytics Certification.
  • Experience operating within an Application Management Services (AMS) or ongoing enhancement support model.
  • Familiarity with structured methodologies such as Agile or Hybrid delivery models.
  • Prior experience delivering solutions for large-scale, international (U.S. or EMEA) clients.
